Betsy Lidsky Correspondence with Lonia Parus
Betsy Lidsky and Lonia Parus knew each other in Vilna. In the 1930’s, Lonia immigrated to Paris. After the war, the two corresponded. Lonia’s wife, Anne Marie Parus, kept the letters and sent them to Ella Lidsky in December 2009. Ella made photocopies and returned the originals to Anne-Marie. Anne Marie then sent the originals to Evgenia Parus, the niece of Lonia Parus. Evgenia lives in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.
